Genre: Fantasy/Mythology

Rating: ZZZZ ( 4 stars)

Startzz”s out with a “Cliff Hanger” and the crescendo  does not stop till the last page that makes you want to read the next two books. It takes the reader on an adventure right along with the characters and completely engrosses your imagination so there is no way to figure out what is going to happen.  It transports you into a world where dragons, wizards, giants and dwarfs dwell amongst the humans who are on a quest of their own.  The vivid descriptions of the places and beings will stay with you long after you finish this book. It does everything that a fantasy read should do.. Transports you.. to another time and… place that only exists in your imagination and takes you away on an exciting trip.
rs will read it too!
Happy Fall Everyone!

This Girl couldn't wait for it fast enough because this time of year is when it starts cooling off in the desert. I have had three visitors this past week.. A box turtle showed up on my back porch first then the next day a trantula! I gave the turtle to my neighbor who is a vet because I noticed it had something wrong with it. It was "drooling" just like the dogs do when they have encountered a scorpion.. and.. sure enough he confirmed that it got bit by one. Maybe that's why he came to my house..to seek help! He is doing well and is living over there at the neighbors now with another turtle just like him. I think it was a "him" because I figured he would be have to be very brave to come around her with the two big dogs I have!  The baby dog is taller than the older one now, and she is the one who showed us the tarantula on the porch. They are not poisonous but they sure are scary looking! we took him over to the neighborhood vet and he confirmed he was indeed a male. He let him go and I hope he doesn't come back to my house anytime soon!
Oh yeah my third visitor .. A great horned owl has been coming to nest in my Saguaro and my neighbor told me he comes every year at this time. I'm pretty sure this one's a girl! I will keep a close watch and see if I see any activity or evidence of  hatchlings. We were sitting on the porch one evening and we saw it swoop down and grab i'ts dinner. It is very exciting living out here in the desert and so far not a dull moment! I didn't get a picture of the tarantula but i did take one of the turtle so I will post that one. I put my camera on the back porch so hopefully I won't miss anything else !

Here are my Girlys!!!!!! Mona Lisa and Ella Bleu
Wow... what a  SiZZling!!Summer out here in the Desert! Talk about Hot Tamales! it's been brutal but we finally got some much needed rain over the past few days. I had to move in 110 degrees and it was not fun! My home is gorgeous and I am really enjoing being out here at the base of the Superstition Moun tains. We are putting in a diving pool so I can read to my hearts content and jump in to cool off! Did I mention that there is a new member to my family? We have a new Great Dane puppy and named her Ella Bleu. She is a marlequin.. White,Black and Grey. She also has one blue eye and one brown hence the name. She is 51 lbs. at 5 months and is just as tall as my 6 year old Weimariner Mona Lisa. It's alot of fun with a baby in our home! I told mona that she has to teach her baby to potty outside and so far it's working.. Ella keeps losing her teeth all over the place and she teethed on one of my husbands shoes and left one in there for him too! I told him not to leave them where she can get them. I haven't been readins much lately so I am just going to relax and kick back with a beer and get down to it! When I drink beer it's a Dos Equis of course! Everyone try and stay cool and keep on reading!!!!!!!

I have just finished reading Skin Games by Adam Pepper and will post my review soon
This is my review for Moonlight Bleu by Renee Rearden

Moonlight Bleu By Renee Rearden

This book sears..zzz it's way into your psyche very quickly. The Author really brings the characters to life on a whole different level than the vampire and werewolves that have been such a phenomenon .There are beings that have been with us even longer than them and Saari who is the” immortal one” is sure to be with us for a very long time. Her recurring “Dream” about her lover’s murder takes her into the lives of all sorts of supernatural beings like herself but none are as unique as she is. They are not so complex that  they are not believable and you are drawn into them very completely and want to keep reading to see where they take you next. This is a perfect blend of fantasy and mystery that really whets your appetite for the next book because it leaves you wanting.. to know ...more, about Saari and Dhelis and Brogan and if they can achieve this life that they have bound themselves into.

My rating is ZZZZ!! and I really enjoyed it
This is my review for The Covering by Miss Cheyenne Mitchell

Title: The Covering
Author: Miss Cheyenne Mitchell
Publisher: Author House
Published Title: The Covering
Author: Miss Cheyenne Mitchell
: August 16,2011
Genre: Supernatural Thriller

My Review:

What are you afraid of?? Things..ZZZ that go bump in the Night? The Dark? Thunder? Lightening? Shadows that Cover Someone that only you can see?

The darkness that has been “covering” the frightening unexplainable events in the towns, that the two teenaged sisters in this story live in, compels them, to find out why the mysterious happenings are always linked to their family members.  They uncover the  deep dark shocking secrets that they have been hiding, and find, that they are too horrifying and unspeakable to believe. When the truth about their family is finally revealed to others can the incredible love that they share, save them, and keep them safe, from the horrors that lurk in the shadows? This family is like no other in their quest for keeping them well hidden from the girls and also from every other unsuspecting person that might come across their secrets.

The author makes the terror so palpable that you keep reading even though it scares you to do so!

My Rating is ZZZZ and I was thoroughly kept on the edge with this one!
